Home & Spatial Design Framework

The Home & Spatial Design Framework focuses on the early and defining stages of a project — when decisions around layout, function, and direction have the greatest impact.

Support can begin in different ways depending on your needs: through an On-Site Design Direction Session, with scoped Design Add-Ons for deeper follow-up, or through an Online Consultation for focused questions.

The goal is to establish a clear foundation and design roadmap before moving into detailed design or execution — helping decisions feel more intentional, grounded, and easier to navigate.

Most projects begin with an On-Site Design Direction Session.

Service Description

This service is ideal if you: - feel unsure where to begin - are planning a renovation or refresh - want clarity before committing to larger design or construction decisions During this session, we explore: - how the space should function and flow - layout logic and use of space - key dimensions and spatial constraints that influence layout decisions - lifestyle needs and priorities - furniture scale and placement approach - overall design direction and next steps Together, these conversations help shape a clear roadmap that guides decisions beyond the session itself. What’s included: - 120 minutes on site - Review of the space and/or existing plans - Collaborative discussion and real-time guidance - A short written summary following the session * For larger-scope projects, additional time may be added at $150/hour, as needed and subject to availability.

Project Examples

Much of my work focuses on design direction, planning, and decision-making at early stages.

Selected examples of past design deliverables, including layouts, presentations, and design studies, are available to share with interested clients upon request.

Online Consultation

A focused, remote service for homeowners seeking clarity around specific design questions.
It’s well suited for reviewing layouts or plans, talking through ideas, or getting direction on key decisions — without the need for an on-site visit.

Who This Is For

- Homeowners with specific questions or decision points

- Those reviewing existing plans, layouts, or ideas

- Clients seeking guidance on materials, finishes, or supplier options

- Projects where focused direction is needed, rather than full design development

This service is not intended to replace an on-site session, but to support smaller scopes or early conversations where remote guidance is sufficient.

Investment: CAD $150/ hour
