Home & Spatial Design Framework

The Home & Spatial Design Framework focuses on the early and defining stages of a project — when decisions around layout, function, and direction have the greatest impact.

Support can begin in different ways depending on your needs: through an On-Site Design Direction Session, with scoped Design Add-Ons for deeper follow-up, or through an Online Consultation for focused questions.

The goal is to establish a clear foundation and design roadmap before moving into detailed design or execution — helping decisions feel more intentional, grounded, and easier to navigate.

Most projects begin with an On-Site Design Direction Session.

Service Description

It’s well suited for reviewing layouts or plans, talking through ideas, or getting direction on key decisions — without the need for an on-site visit. This format works best when the goal is guidance and perspective, rather than resolving an entire space. Who This Is For: - Homeowners with specific questions or decision points - Those reviewing existing plans, layouts, or ideas - Clients seeking guidance on materials, finishes, or supplier options - Projects where focused direction is needed, rather than full design development This service is designed to support smaller scopes or early conversations where remote guidance is sufficient. *A brief written summary or key takeaways may be shared following the session, depending on scope.

Optional Design Add-Ons

(Available after completing an On-Site Design Direction Session)

These add-ons are offered when additional clarity is helpful following the on-site session, allowing specific parts of the design roadmap to be developed in more detail.

Concept Layout Sketch

A scaled 2D layout developed to clarify spatial decisions discussed during the on-site session.

This add-on is ideal when a clearer plan is needed to confirm furniture placement, circulation, or room organization before moving forward.

What’s included:

- One concept layout for a single space or defined area
- One online review meeting (45–60 minutes)
- One round of revision or refinement

Investment:

CAD $350–$650

Concept 3D Visualization

A concept-level 3D visualization created to help better understand scale, proportion, and spatial relationships.

This add-on is suited for clients who benefit from seeing the space before making further design or renovation decisions.

What’s included:

- Concept 3D views of a single space

- One online review meeting (45–60 minutes)

- One round of revision or refinement

This is a design visualization tool and is not intended as a construction-ready or photorealistic rendering.

Investment:

CAD $750–$1200

Moodboard & Furniture List

A curated furniture & material direction based on the design intent established during the on-site session.

This add-on helps translate spatial decisions into a cohesive furniture approach — without overwhelming you with endless options.

What’s included:

- A furniture & finishes moodboard aligned with the agreed design direction

- An intentional list of key furniture, material, accessory pieces

- Guidance on scale, proportion, and overall balance

- One online review meeting (45–60 minutes)

- One round of revision or refinement

*Trade discounts on selected furniture and material suppliers will be reflected where applicable.

Investment:

Single room: CAD $450–$750

Open living area: CAD $750–$1,200

For larger or more involved projects, a tailored design package can be developed following the on-site session, based on project needs and priorities.

Project Examples

Much of my work focuses on design direction, planning, and decision-making at early stages.

Selected examples of past design deliverables, including layouts, presentations, and design studies, are available to share with interested clients upon request.
